>The only way to solve this one is to go off the grid.< Nobody is requiring you to purchase power from the local electric utility or retail power provider. The only problem is that you're going to have a massive investment. Electric utilities exist because there is such a thing as economies of scale. You can also grow all your own food but as a Kroger stockholder I'm not going to start quaking in my hightops.

>The big companies, and government, will always figure out a way to steal your money.,< "Steal" is a misnomer. The solar panel users want a service but they're unwilling to pay for it. Or would you prefer that solar panel users steal from you to support a capability you will never benefit from? Solar panel users add to peak load because they want to have electricity when the sun doesn't shine. Tell me a place where peak load capacity is free and I'll tell you "other than Fantasy Island."

I have to go back on what I said in December - GasBuddy changed it's policy and wants to go back to Cash prices - seeing your reports, you haven't seen the post: LINK:

thanks for posting!! : -) . to improve the postings:
FAQ's about Price Listings
Q: Do I post the cash price, or the credit price?
A: Most consumers use debit or credit cards when making purchases. We've had far too many complaints from people stating they've gone to a station only to find out they had to pay more than what was quoted on our site. That said, please post the price before the cash discount when possible. You can still provide the cash discount information, but please enter that information in the Comments field.
for example the Citgo Near I-85 Exit 102 comments: -9¢ gas -10¢ diesel with cash,
or in the case for Auto Stop: cash only no credit or debit card , for Murphy: -3¢ w/Walmart giftcard -5¢ w/Walmart creditcard, for Bilo card stations: accepts BiLo Fuelperks for Brad's: cash price, add 3% for cards

On the main page, go to Forum > South Carolina Discussion > Price Posting Guidelines (2nd topic), and in the post, it's about 3/4 the way down.

Hi. Concerning Fast Fuel in Williamston, please review the posting rules - they say to post Credit price, not Cash. Also, you keep putting a 10c spread between Reg, Mid, & Premium. Please look at the pump - there is a 20c spread. Today, credit prices are 3.10/3.30/3.50, diesel is 3.80; cash is 3.05/3.25/3.45 and diesel is 3.75. You can find the Price Posting Guidlines under the South Carolina Forum. It says you can put the Cash price in the Comments section. Thanks.
