OMG!! you missed a day!! How did you survive?? the stripes are gone again...

by Joeski1  Yesterday

no laptop... pc and cell phone... but we do have 1 fancy pants twin door fridge.. and one old fashioned one.. both a few years old.. you had one heck of a gas bill.. I'm still waiting for my gas co. to send me a bill... recently I read about 100 units since the last bill.. but that was almost 2 months maybe I owe a $100 for the past two months... plus the $20 in pipe charges,, we'll see.. they won't get one cent if they fail to send me a bill... I want a Tesla beach towel.. which i will never leave out of my sight anywhere... and a tesla license plate frame.. and may be another tesla t-shirt..oh.. and did I mention the tesla??

by Joeski1  Mar 30, 2015

that's incredible... don't know how you do it.. I'd need at least a 9.0K system to do that I think... even at our present use level... still changing over to whole house LED's one by one.. but we still use almost a 1200 kWh a month... Good work!! Joe

no conspiracy jimbo... tesla sell sa $38 license plate frame that's says 'my next car will be an Ev!"... and of course Tesla under neath.. but the sales write up is hilarious. that's the hand polished bit... so if one was to buy that plate surround... and then fished for the horn honking and what not... wouldn't that be just like a parade??Hilarious!! Could get easier laughs then when I read the prices of some of this "merchandizing" .. then realize.. that the Tesla folks sold out their entire lot of beach towels at $42 a clip... order more I guess.... in times of such hardship for many.. folks blow $42 on a beach towel like they pass gas after Thanksgiving turkey... I wanna be them!! Best , joe

whaddam I ? on parade???

by Joeski1  Mar 28, 2015

hand-polished, epoxy filled license plate frame that reads: "My Next Car is Electric!" Prepare yourself for waves, honks, and thumbs up as you ride through town.

Jim , Elon has not missed a thing with marketing to the masses.. I would have bought the $42 proudly made in the USA beach towel (sold out) , maybe next time!! but maybe the license plate frame will be enough this go... .. @ $38.. I'll have to use theft resistant bolts!! ...

this message brought to you by solar pv offset energy.. we respect the sun like nothing else... it deserves respect.. it' s like several billion years old...and yet.. it still shines everyday eagerly willing to bathe all in it's heat and life giving energy, if those pesky clouds would just part a bit and let it!!

good morning jim... no body wants to clean up a nuke plant incident bud... Fiji whatever needs folks willing.. I think they pay like 150K a year eq. in yen... but they don't have much of a retirement plan... and they charge extra for the 'elite' healthcare plan.. the one that treats all the cancers....

by Joeski1  Mar 27, 2015

okay.. I crunched the numbers.. the period 2/19 to 3/20.. we generated 709 kWh off the roof... used 282 while generating and sent 427 back on the grid to offset the 862 we used off the grid.. so when we add the 862 off the grid.. plus the 282 we used while we were generating.. that totals 1144 kWh demand for our residence during the period. of which 709 was either offset or directly powered by solar pv.. just a nick under 62% of our energy for the month was supplied or offset by the solar pv... I was just a wee bit off on my initial guessemate before the actual number crunch.... my per kWh rate is 18+/- cents per delivered from PSE&G from their mix of generation sources.. mostly shaky nuke.. joe
