Hi! I don't know the baby wolfies name. It was just a pic I found on the net. GB sent me a notice telling me to change my other pic or I would be fined $1000.00 for stealing someone elses pic! I had gotten the other pic from Facebook. lol!

Thank you, Blue. I'm just an old busybody who can't sit still for too long.... That is why I have that spreadsheet. Hmmmm, I am sensing that I will be very busy again really soon!!!

Red potatoes are classic southern spuds. And believe it not Yukon Golds do well here, too!

Weedeating and plantin' taters today.

Confirmed today by the NWS, it was an EF1. They tend to be 'small' passing through here, but gain strength as they go east. Tuscaloosa twisters of a couple of years is a good example. We had small tornadoes the day before, but the system became much more violent in MS and AL...

The weather radio woke me up today after my midshift last night. Tornado Warning! It passed about two miles south heading east. Dodged another one... :-O

We did OK here. Locally just heavy rain & high winds from two separate storm cells. Just to the southwest of here, though, there were at least 6 killed & homes destroyed (Granbury). The storms were still growing late into the evening. Grandson's baseball game was halted around 7:45 due to lightning in the immediate area. From then on the storm grew & spread. Heard there was also damage in the Cleburne area, but haven't seen or heard anything to confirm. Some of the destroyed homes in Granbury looked quite large from the photos posted. Thanks for asking.

Nope. We got NAFDOR (Not A Freakin' Drop Of Rain.)
