For anyone who is curious about the name or the way it is spelled; when I was young I helped out at a mortuary for awhile. Years later when playing computer games with my son, he informed me that I needed an “Avatar”. So for games, I started going by the name of “Anubis” (it was all I could think of) and whatever # the server wanted. When I signed up for GB, I wanted the name to be similar, but not the same – so “Ahnubus” could sound like Anubis.

Thank You - When I was 16, a bolt of lighting hit a tree about 100 yards from where I was standing. The crash and flash was quite spectacular. It was a pretty good sized Cottonwood (24" dia), the strike took about a 6 foot long chunk out (the biggest piece was only about the size of your thumb). "Mother Nature" - enjoy the view/beware her wrath.
