You're welcome. Any time you post an article, I will pump it.

I'm actually disappointed that the left-wingers don't have many good responders. A lot of what they write is not well-written, and not well-thought out. A lot of attacks without much else. I enjoy a good debate with an intelligent opponent. Sometimes you learn something new that can change your perspective. Personal attacks or attacks on the source of the articles aren't going to change anybody's minds.

Understandable. My father was Air Force. You experience a lot of moving and a lot of changes, it's hard to keep up with everything.

I never attack people personally. I don't mind if people have the exact opposite opinion of mine. I can respect that. What I don't respect is people who think people that don't think like them are idiots.

My parents impressed on me the importance of voting when I was young. I have never missed a vote in my life and I never will. Sometimes I don't like any of the candidates I'm voting for, but the lesser of two evils is better than letting somebody else decided your fate for you.

I agree with you about depending entirely on alternative energy. A backup system needs to be in play, I do not know how long it take to fire up a coal plant to create energy, but in the case you mentioned in Europe, they should have had sufficient warning from the weather forecast to crank them up just in case they were needed. We have sufficient warnings about Hurricanes, extreme cold, and hot spells for our utilities to be prepared as much as possible. With a proper power grid I can be done, and the cost should level out so there would not be that much of an increase in the cost of energy to the nation.

I'm tired of seeing America decline and the middle-class shrink. Elections matter more than most people realize.

We seem to be headed down the same path.
