Your post on the item "Should BP’s Money Go Where the Oil Didn’t?" prompts me to direct you to my earlier post which says, in part, "The problem was not an oil spill, it was a broadcast news event peppered with sensationalism and fear-mongering. Neither BP nor the Coast Guard contributed to those problems. The famed journalist Edward R. Murrow got it right in 1958 when he said, 'One of the basic troubles with radio and television news is that both instruments have grown up as an incompatible combination of show business, advertising and news'." Mr. Murrow identified a problem you may want to discuss with others to stop the foolishness.
