Throw into the mix the upcoming earthquakes, volcanoes going off [more have of them just like I said they would and there's more to come] and the larger meteorites that will hit the earth, and you're really got a future mess on your/our hands. The world will NOT come to an end mind you, but many will wish that it would for them.

by LanguageMan1  May 16, 2015

One thing that I failed to mention the other day, for at least the next eight to 12 years, we're going to be faced with higher prices on oil, energy, natural gas, gasoline, diesel, food, clothing, everything. We won't be able to avoid it and can only hope to make more, save more and have enough to weather the storm. Those that are in power have created the beginnings of a very bad storm to come and it's unavoidable. So, no matter what, higher prices WILL be the norm. The thing is, they nor we {I already do more than my part and have through the years, so I don't include myself in the we in this case as most haven't done what I've done nor do they even attempt to.} the people will do the right thing or do what needs to be done, and those at the very top are too greedy, want their New World Order, believe in their idealisms, etc. They will ruin life for many more I'm afraid.

A very belated and Sretan Rodjendan/Bonne Fete/Happy Birthday to you!

by LanguageMan1  May 14, 2015

I would much rather that the price of gas around here was $2.75 to $2.89 and for us to have the jobs than to not have them.

by LanguageMan1  May 14, 2015

I have to agree with that, as well as for keeping the jobs base in better shape here at home. We've already had the layoffs I expected and said would happen back in August of last year, and I don't want to see more of them. That would be bad for the rest of us! People have to realize that it effects the rest of the country, and some want them, those workers to feel the pain we've felt, but it's not the workers they should feel that way about. That's stupidity at work.

by LanguageMan1  May 14, 2015

Now, regrettably, I see another rise coming within days, if it's already risen in your area or others. Even the price of diesel will be going up a bit. I've already sent out a warning to others.

by LanguageMan1  May 13, 2015

Oh, yeah, were dropping again, more or less like I figured we would, but we'll be going back up again within the next two to 10 days. Looks like they're moving it up so that it's up by about a dime each time or so, then letting it drop a bit and bump it up more instead of more of it at once. It's less of a shock to people that way. It'll be up another eight to 25 cents a gallon at a minimum when they do it.

Pass it along! Better get filled up again if you can as it's going to go up more still. A belated Buon Cumpleanno/Alles gute Zum Geburtstag/Happy Birthday to you as well.
