Thanks for your comments Dan. I can not help but shake my head when every time we turn around we find another loophole and exemption that the oil & gas industry has tucked away. The Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund exemption for tarsands crud is one more reason the XL pipeline should never get built. It is a folly of greed that will only serve to tie US to the dirtiest energy source at a time when we have so many better choices. Keep up the good fight. Legitimate science and shining the light of reason on dirty industry tricks will see US through.

Your article about the Heartland Institute has been taken down. Nobody wants to take credit, but there were very few posts before the article went down. Thanks for posting the climate article. The topic appears to have been taken down- the reactionary right strikes again- they love to refer to the Founding Fathers, and quote The Constitution, but somehow, the first amendment seems to get forgotten when the thought being expressed doesn't agree with tier own thoughts.

Take it from me, who had my account banned last month without warning or notice, and apparently without any reason that the moderators can find or will tell me, you're better off being banned if that means staying quiet from the ignorance being posted on this site.
